Biography
Gerry Vernon Dozier, Ph.D., is the Charles D. McCrary Eminent Chair Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at Auburn University. Dr. Dozier is the director of the Artificial Intelligence & Identity Research (AI2R) Lab. He is currently applying his research expertise in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Behavioral Analytics, Natural Language Processing, and Evolutionary Computation to the areas of Cyber Identity Protection and Cyber Security. Dr. Dozier has published over 140 conference and journal publications. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. On July 24, 2019, Dr. Dozier was appointed to the Alabama Commission on Artificial Intelligence and Assorted Technologies by Governor Kay Ivey.
